The Chase

Here is my nephew Rodan’s illustration to my brother’s story of their recent unexpected event involving a boar.
.
“Once in a while hunters rumble through our peaceful settlement. On occasion a hunting dog would chase our free ranged animals, mainly goats. In response to such invasion our shepherd dogs pursue the hunting dog. Then, in turn, we have to chase our dogs to get things settled. Judging by the drawings of the Little Mountain Man (my nephew) these events appear exciting to our children.
.
This time a smallish boar ran through our backyard chased by a hunting dog. Chuva, the guarding dog on watch, took off after the hunting dog. This alarmed Lada, the lady of the house, who concerned for our dog getting shot by hunters (such thing had happened here in the past) grabbed the leash and ran after Chuva.
.
And thus, a train of barking, snorting, huffing-puffing beings rushed through our lives captured by the child’s eye and his pencil – the boar, chased by the hunting dog, chased by the guarding dog, chased by the lady of the house.”
